Project Summary
For Perry County Elementary, we supported a comprehensive HVAC equipment package centered on Daikin VRV heat‑recovery zoning paired with AAON outdoor air / packaged rooftop equipment, designed to deliver classroom-by-classroom comfort control, robust ventilation, and commissioning support appropriate for a K‑12 environment.
What We Delivered
1) VRV Heat‑Recovery Zoning (Daikin)
Nine (9) Daikin VRV condensing units .
Ninety‑one (91) Daikin indoor air handling units .
Heat‑recovery, inverter‑driven multizone system using R‑410A refrigerant, with scheduled electrical service..
VRV system accessories and infrastructure included in the package scope (branch selector/BS boxes, REFNET™ piping kits, multi‑connection kits, sensors, and gateway/controller items as listed).
2) Ventilation / Outdoor Air & Packaged RTU Solutions (AAON) — Basis of Design
Two (2) AAON make‑up air units.
Two (2) AAON packaged rooftop units.
Equipment features included energy/comfort and serviceability provisions such as energy recovery wheel options, double‑wall construction with R‑13 injected foam insulation, VFD fan motor strategies, MERV 8 filtration, hot gas reheat, factory-mounted disconnect, and a comprehensive sensor/safeguard list (e.g., proof of airflow, dirty filter switch, humidity/temperature sensors, pressure transducers).
