Thermal Equipment Sales was able to provide HVAC equipment that contributed to the success of reaching savings goals of our customers. KSBA website published an article via McCreary Voice, Whitley City, Nov. 22, 2017 titled, School District saving money on energy costs by Greg Bird. The article goes on to explain how CMTA Energy Solutions presented the McCreary County Board of Education how the savings on overall energy costs were higher than expected and energy and maintenance costs were drastically reduced. Summer of 2016 the Board agreed to work with CMTA to upgrade lighting and HVAC systems throughout the District facilities, confident that the upgrades would pay for themselves in savings over the next 10 years. The two biggest beneficiaries of the changes were McCreary Central High School and McCreary County Middle School that combined for nearly $120,000 in reduced energy costs alone. Some manufacturers include Water Furnace Envision Compact and Large Capacity Units, Daikin VRV IV Systems, GPS Water Source Heat Pumps and Aldes Energy Recovery Unit with MERV 8 filters.
